We go again! – ‘Boxing fight of the year’ candidate all-British rematch between ‘The Bodysnatcher‘ and ‘Delboy‘ or now ‘War‘.

Now under the management of ‘Hayemaker Boxing’ promoter & former Heavyweight Champion David Haye, rejuvenated Chisora is back in the hunt for a world title shot.

34 year-old rejuvenated Chisora sensationally stopped former world championship challenger Carlos Takam in eight rounds on the undercard of #WhytevsParker back in September.

DC says :

“I was cheated in the first fight by the judges, everyone knows that I was the true victor.

“This time the score will be settled, Dillian won’t be hearing the final bell to be saved by the judges.

“‘Del Boy’ is no more, ‘WAR’ Chisora does not cut any corners, he doesn’t skip sessions, he doesn’t look for the easy option.

“I’m in the gym all day pushing my body to its limit. I’m in complete control of my destiny. This is WAR.”

A very tense press conference was held between the two (Thursday 1st November 2018) with main promoter Eddie Hearn sat in the middle.

“No Fear”

Renewed rivalry quickly appeared as both exchanged trash talk across the table.

DW : “You don’t intimidate me Dereck, I’m not scared of you. I don’t fear you. You threw a table and it didn’t bother me.

“There’s not an ounce of fear here. I have a bit of respect, but that is it, I’m an animal lover. I love donkey’s.”

DC : “There are not enough men here to hold me back, if you get personal.”

Tables stayed in place and the normal photo’s were taken from the media, even a hand-shake.

Both fighters know that this was the best option (regarding money) the pair could take. It seems there is a little more respect now.

The winner has the added bonus at a chance of fighting at Wembley Stadium on April 13th 2019 opposite world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
