‘Delboy’ proposed deal with Dillian Whyte & Eddie Hearn
Both fighters were at the Joshua vs Povetkin weigh-in waiting on their next fight announcement.
O2 Arena is booked for a December 22nd showdown but terms are yet to be agreed.
Update : Dereck Chisora signs management deal with David Haye (Hayemaker Promotions).
Chisora speaks to Matchroom Boxing Promoter Eddie Hearn & Dillian Whyte :
DC : “We are here for the weigh-in, since Mr. Whyte is here let’s see how it goes.”
Hearn : “December 22nd at the O2, it’s all booked. We just got to do the deal.”
‘Give me the Money!’
All three were speaking just yards apart to various media when ‘Delboy’ called in ‘The Bodysnatcher’.
DC : “Hey Dillian! Can we have a quick chat?”
Whyte : “I’ll come. Talk to me. I’m ready for the fight. I’m ready.”
DC : “What do you want?”
DW : “I’ve told you what I want already. Eddie has already told you.”
With a big crowd watching on, Dereck doesn’t like the split of 75/25 and offers to write a cheque for £5 million to make the fight.
DW : “Write the cheque then.”
DC: “OK. Done.”
DW: “Make sure it doesn’t bounce.”
The pair part company. Eddie Hearn looked on with a face saying – Well that isn’t going to happen.
We all know that is NOT the way ‘Fast Car Eddie‘ does his business.
This fight only happens if the two fighters agree on a split – Sounds Simple. Not between these rivals…
